Have reasonable pricing power through differentiated offering or price inelasticity of their offering. |

Have a scalable business, strong and profitable business model and clear business plans for at least 3 years. |

Are open to good corporate governance and financial discipline. |

| The strategy of Aditya Birla Private Equity is to take significant minority stakes through equity, quasi-equity or equity linked instruments in companies with the above characteristics. While buyouts or early stage investments are not the area of focus, such situations may be considered under exceptional circumstances. |
